As the season change and your children grow you may fond yourself wondering where can I get my child a new raincoat and gumboots. This is a little list of my favourite local stores to source your wardrobe updates.
I know many will turn to department stores for seasonal clothing items and accessories but many also like to support local businesses when they can, so here a few of my favourites in the Blue Mountains, many of which you can find clothes, jackets, raincoats, umbrellas, hats and swimwear- depending on the season.
Little Knick knacks Glenbrook– this gorgeous store stocks some very popular high quality brands of children swear and seasonal accessories for babies and children.
Little Sparrow Baby Glenbrook- if you are looking for items for your baby this store has a beautiful selection of high quality clothing and seasonal items for babies and infants.
Lil Poppit– Jackets and vests that are handcrafted in the blue mountains and are absolutely gorgeous, they can be custom made to your fabric selections if you enquire.
Archie Bee– Local designer making beautiful bespoke pieces for the seasons.
Grow and Co- Wentworth Falls store that stocks high quality clothing for children including seasonal accessories.
Made In Leura– This homewares store has a large shop in Leura that has a children’s section that accommodates a few well known brands for children’s clothing including seasonal accessories.
I have always loved Op shops. even more so with children because they grow so quickly and need new clothes so quickly that both the donating and purchasing clothes at op shops has become very valued.
